tips for peppers

I've had pretty good luck with hot peppers the past few years...can't complain...I've not been overly impressed with my bell peppers, but I'm still trying.

How to grow potatoes

I've not found that growing my own potatoes is cheaper, but fresh from the garden potatoes are SO tender! In the past years I have tried to find cultivars that are tastier and more expensive to purchase than regular old russetts. I grew red potatoes last year, I really want to try yukon gold or something else tasty and buttery this year. I'm too chicken to try purple or blue potatoes!

I have grown potatoes in trashcans and grow bags the past few years...not terribly impressed with the yield vs how much I spent on potting soil. oh well, it's still pretty cool to do!
