tips for peppers
I've had pretty good luck with hot peppers the past few years...can't complain...I've not been overly impressed with my bell peppers, but I'm still trying.

How to grow potatoes
I've not found that growing my own potatoes is cheaper, but fresh from the garden potatoes are SO tender! In the past years I have tried to find cultivars that are tastier and more expensive to purchase than regular old russetts. I grew red potatoes last year, I really want to try yukon gold or something else tasty and buttery this year. I'm too chicken to try purple or blue potatoes!

tips for zucchini
I have a goal every year that I will finally be that gardener who has too many zukes....it hasnt happened yet. last year I think I got one or 2 zukes...a ton of cukes and yellow squash, tomatoes etc...my neighbor who lives about 2 minutes away was overwhelmed with zukes...seems like bug and mildew are my worst enemies. maybe once I finally reach the goal of having too many zukes I can finally feel like a successful gardener.

seed suppliers
I pretty much stick with what I can find in the stores like burpee, cooks garden, american and ferry morse, with a few other smaller ones in the locally owned stores. gotta say, I'm a bit dismayed at how EXPENSIVE seeds are to purchase from the catalogs, but the specific varieties cant be found as plants or even seeds in stores. we'll see how it goes.

planting a seedy garden
I'm wishing I knew more about this last year now that I am purchasing seeds for this years garden. I am purchasing lots of greens which I need to learn more about saving seeds from them. I am purchasing some interesting beans this year which should be easy to do and
I need to pay special attention to which of my tomatoes are ok.
I guess I can also pay attention to how long my already purchased seeds are good for, and decide when I need to worry about seed saving
